NAEA has a new award we would like to highlight and make sure you are aware of: Agent of Change in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award
The Agent of Change award emerged from a call to action in committing to equity, diversity, inclusion, and social impact by NAEA. The purpose of the award is to honor an individual who exemplifies, demonstrates, and/or leads social impact or social justice efforts in the work they do within visual arts, design, and media arts education. So - Do you know an outstanding visual arts educator, student, or supporter who deserves recognition? The NAEA Awards Program offers over 100 awards. Growing in scope since its inception, this program features state, regional, and national level awards. Nominations for most NAEA awards must be submitted online. The deadline for most awards is October 1, 2021.
