NMAEA Celebrates Age Group Winners from State Fair School Art Exhibition

Congratulations to Isaac Borunda (3rd Grade at Desert Willow Elementary), Alani Julian (8th Grade at Lincoln Middle School), and Chris Thompson (12th Grade at Belen High School) on being selected as age group-winning student-artists for the 2022 NM State Fair School Art Exhibition.

Winners received a prize package and will have their work reproduced to go on to be displayed at the NAEA national convention in San Antonio in April 2023. NMAEA celebrates all three incredible student-artists but also celebrates their hard-working art teachers. Isaac is a student of teacher (and NMAEA member) Lisa Chester at Desert Willow Elementary in Carlsbad. Alani is a student of teacher (and NMAEA member) Pam Elam at Lincoln Middle School in Rio Rancho. Isaac is a student of teacher (and NMAEA member) Egan Ulbricht at Belen High School in Belen.
