NMAEA Recognizes Outstanding Work of Haley Johnston and Leeanne Carr at UNM Capstone 22 Event

The New Mexico Art Education Association is proud to recognize University of New Mexico student teaching candidate Haley Johnston as the 2021-2022 Preservice Art Teacher of the Year and graduate student Leanne Carr as the 2021-2022 Outstanding Graduate Student in Visual Art Education. Haley and Leeanne were recognized at the Wednesday 5.4.22 Capstone 22 event held in conjunction with UNM ARTE's graduating student art exhibition in the Masley Gallery of Art. Both awardees will graduate in May 2022 and will also be recognized for their outstanding efforts at the 2022 NMAEA Fall Conference to be held on the campus of the University of New Mexico (November 4-6).
