Planning ahead– The 2022 New Mexico Art Education Association Fall Conference is scheduled November 4-6 on the campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. 2022 is NMAEA's 50th Anniversary as well as the 75th year of visual art education at UNM, so we hope that this conference will be a massive celebration of both milestones. To coordinate with the state conference, we plan to push back the schedule for the 2022 NMAEA Member Exhibition, and (unless the lingering pandemic measures require otherwise) we will plan to hold the conference as an in-person event. Thank you to Michelle Sanchez St. Andre and Liz Olive for stepping forward as conference co-chairs. If you have suggestions for speakers, programs, or discussions to be included in the conference schedule, please reach out to your division representative.
Go ahead and block off November 4-6 on your calendar... as the state conference is going to be a must-not-miss event.
