The New Mexico Art Education Association (NMAEA) is a 501c3 non-profit organization created by art educators for art educators, from all grade levels, from across our state of New Mexico. Our membership is comprised of visual and digital art teachers, professors, administrators, and museum educators.

NMAEA is an affiliate of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) of over 20,000 members from across the country, since 1972.

Legislative Session Update: 
HB 199 contains language to adjust the modifier to reinstate some of the previous FAEA funding. 

Feb 10 - NM Advisory Council on Arts Education (NMAEA) Mtg: 1:00 pm
Statewide arts leadership meeting from various groups and districts. NMAEA is a guest that reports on our association's work. 

Feb 11 -  NMAEA Executive Meeting: 10:00 am

Feb 25 - NM Scholastics Art Awards Recognition Ceremony 5 pm
Statewide recognition ceremony of our adjudicated students grades 7-12. New location this year is at The Orpheum,  500 2nd St, SW, Albuquerque.
